Join us for NYC Pickleball’s first-ever #queerpickle Pride Fest, dedicated to celebrating and growing the LGBTQ+ pickleball community! We’re hosting a subsidized beginner clinic, followed by tournaments for various skill brackets. We’ll also be running a fundraiser for Brooklyn Community Pride Center, and matching donations up to $600. This event is open to everyone in the community, LGBTQ+ and allies. Let's come together to play and raise money for a local organization serving our diverse and expansive LGBTQ+ community!

LGBTQ+ Beginner clinic & Open Play

12-2PM: This 2 hour beginner clinic and open play session is subsidized for members of the LGBTQ+ community and will be hosted by Kat Preciado and Liz Kamel, founding members of our #queerpickle slack group and the players behind @queernycpickleball. Learn and practice the basic fundamentals of the sport, meet new friends, and play pickleball! Only 32 spots available.

Registration Fee: $15 per person, all equipment provided

OPEN DOUBLES TOURNAMENTs - ALLIES WELCOME!

Each tournament will take place on two courts, with 8 teams. Teams will be broken up into two pools of 4 teams each for round-robin play, with games to 15. The top two teams from each round-robin will proceed to playoffs. Semi-finals will be one game to 15, and finals will be a best 2 of 3 match with games to 11.

Registration Fee: $100 per team, per bracket ($50 per player)

Only one member of each team needs to register. We will send a form to collect your full team information after registration closes.
