NYC Pickleball Lessons
I recently started working with Eric to take my pickleball game to the next level. But even before we started practicing together, I knew it was going to work solely from his mindset. Finding a coach with an understanding of my goals and mentality was important. Once he evaluated my skill set we immediately got working on shots and techniques that will prepare me for the next level. I’m very excited to see the practice I’ve been putting in come to light in real games. If you are looking for someone who is dedicated to the game of pickleball and immersed in the community, this is your guy.

Hi! I’m a 5.0 level player and an IPTPA certified instructor based in Queens, New York. Since 2020, I’ve played in tournaments on both coasts, organized games across the boroughs, and co-founded this website with my wife, Ray.
As a coach, I excel at helping my players develop their strengths, and I love watching them level up. I look for students who are committed to drilling, and are interested in working together consistently. I am now pursuing coaching full time, so am open to lessons from beginners all the way up to aspiring 4.0+ players.

“I took my first ever pickleball lesson with Eric after playing pickleball for 7 years casually. He brought a positive attitude to the lesson and focused on technique, dinking, and moving through the court. I played competitive tennis for 10 years and so I thought I understood the basics of pickleball. Eric has a great knowledge of the game and quickly set me straight on how the games were completely different. Eric gave me a lot of tips to think through while I practice on my own which has been super helpful. Additionally, Eric welcomed me with open arms to the NYC pickleball group when I moved here. 10/10 would recommend lessons with Eric if you are trying to improve your pickleball game.

“I've worked with Coach Eric for a few group sessions. My experience was extremely rewarding and truly beneficial.
Coming in as a beginner, he was patient and detailed in his explanations for the fundamentals of the game. We took away lots of tips and drills to do on our own - and had a lot of fun too! After our session, he provided tape and helpful written critiques/reminders for each participant. He also provided useful resources and videos for us to continue our self-training.
In our next session, after a few months of practice as an intermediate player, Eric focused on specific skills and areas of opportunities for us to prepare for an upcoming tournament. We focused on repetition, drills that strengthened certain weakness in my game, and put specific scenarios into practice for a game. Between each of these sessions, we've stayed in close contact and he was always available for questions I had. At all levels, Eric's expertise and knowledge of the sport makes him an amazing coach - he's also friendly, funny, and extremely welcoming. I'm very grateful for his support on my journey to being a better player and partner.”

“Eric is one of the best coaches we have worked with. He has a natural talent for teaching and effuses passion for the sport of pickleball. Our first 2-hour lesson flew by. Eric had several potential exercises prepared and quickly pinpointed our weaknesses before providing detailed individualized guidance. We’d highly recommend Eric and are excited to further improve our game with him!”
